Chapter 3 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 55, no. 3), “Micro-credentials and Digital Badges,” provides a survey of the different pieces involved with digital badging, such as standards and badge platforms, and how these interact with other systems, such as learning management systems. The concept of experiential transcripts is also introduced and explained.
