Abstract
Chapter 1 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 54, no. 6), “Introduction to Virtual and Augmented Reality”
Chapter 1 of this issue of Library Technology Reports (vol. 54, no. 6), “Introduction to Virtual and Augmented Reality,” focuses on the history of virtual and augmented reality (VAR) and the current state of these technologies. The chapter takes a look at the trajectory of VAR and how it has become more accessible to the public and is being incorporated into the everyday lives of our library users.
