Abstract


Chapter 4 of Library Technology Reports (vol. 53, no. 1) “Internet of Things: Mobile technology and location services in libraries”

In this chapter we consider security and privacy concerns within Internet of Things (IoT) technology. Specifically, we underscore the need for privacy policies within IoT services. These are made especially important when considering location-based personalized service. Complete user privacy is nearly impossible to assure in personalization services.
