Chapter 3: Libraries by Sector and Two-Year Colleges

Chapters 1 and 2 of
Library Technology Reports
(vol. 50, no. 4) looked at heterogeneous sets of libraries. Chapters 3, 4, and 5 look at more homogeneous groups of libraries. Chapter 3 breaks down libraries by sector—the typical term length (two years or four or more years) and governance model. It also includes the largest Carnegie classification, Associate’s Colleges, most but not all of which are in sectors 4–6.
